    Bananalogue Serge VCS


    Nous avons reçu notre second exemplaire du module Serge VCS de chez Bananalogue. Comme sur notre premier exemplaire, nous avons faire placer une LED bleue, plus en harmonie avec nos autres modules Doepfer.

    Conçu à l’origine par le français Serge Tcherpnin, il a été redesigné par l’australien Ken Stone, puis fabriqué à la main au Texas par Seth Nemec : c’est toute une “saga” du synthétiseur modulaire analogique que nous avons enfin entre nos mains !

    Vous pouvez entendre ce module en action dans le morceau Evolution – Transformation et l’installation sonore de l’exposition Islande – Territoires d’Infini.

    Profitant de quelques jours de mauvais temps, nous avons fait un nouveau mixage “live” du morceau Evolution – Transformation (retouches minimes et mastering).

    Le studio était réduit à sa plus simple expression : un Macintosh PowerBook G4, le logiciel Ableton Live 5, une interface audio M-Audio Audiophile Firewire et une paire d’écouteurs, le tout sur le plateau arrière du Land Rover – 1,90 m x 1,20 m.
