Doepfer 3 x A180 multiples for portable suitecase

After reading this post on TRASH_AUDIO where Surachai | the deep element was explaining how he put his Doepfer A-180 Multiple module up on the top left of his portable suitecase, I’ve started to think about how to do it in a little bit more « elegant way ».
Yesterday, while surfing on different modular synths forums, I read a topic about spbaker who was building a diy euro set-up/suitcase. This gave me, I think, a clever idea on how to put elegantly some multiples on the top or bottom of Doepfer portable suitcases.
The trick will be to use 3 Doepfer A-180 modules and unscrew them from theirs faceplates. Then, use a square aluminium tube (20 x 20 mm – thickness 1 mm), drill some holes in it and screw again the Doepfer modules inside the tube. At the end, just drill two holes in the top wood part of a portable suitcase and screw the new « Doepfer 3 x A180 multiples in a tube ». That’s it !
Well, this is now only a projet but I will build it in a few weeks. I will ask a company to cut and drill properly an anodized aluminium tube. May be others Doepfer suitcases owners could be interesed ?

Malgré la renaissance de la marque Waldorf, la série Microwave (I, II, XT, XTk) ne devrait plus être supportée (dommage …). Suite à quelques demandes ces derniers mois, nous mettons à disposition le manuel , ainsi que la dernière version officielle de l’OS v2.33 (fichier MIDI à lire à partir de votre logiciel séquenceur favori pour envoyer le tout dans le Microwave). Malgré les années qui ont passées, cela reste un synthétiseur extrêmement puissant et au grain sonore inimitable !
