Ljós|Light is a combination of some of the main themes that have emerged during my work as a photographer in Iceland. These are organized in a slow dissolved movement slideshow, and a soundtrack that is composed with low vibration and icelandic darkscape in mind. It tries to express the deep and mysterious moods of this country – light, weather, landscape and culture.
Voici un petit article paru dans l’édition du week-end du principal quotidien islandais, Morgunblaðið, à propos de mes voyages en Islande ainsi que sur mon travail photographique mené dans ces paysages immenses depuis de nombreuses années.
Here is a small article published in the week end issue of the main newspaper of Iceland, Morgunblaðið. It talked about my numerous travels in this country and my landscape photographies.
Les modules entourés de bleu sont ceux que nous sommes en train acquérir. Ceux qui sont en rouge ne sont pas disponibles pour le moment.
Modules with blue lines are those we are purchasing now. The red ones are not available at the moment
I’m back from Iceland since a week and it was a pleasure to swith one my modular analog synth after a 8 weeks travel. I detected then a tuning and scaling problem between my Tiptop Audio Z3000 and my Cwejman VCO-6 oscillators. The Cwejman was OK but it didn’t track on the same way. I tried to calibrate and retuned the Cwejman oscillator, but without knowledge I failed. Some I asked Wowa Cwejman for some helps !
I’ve recently bought Thesys plug-in (formely named Eloquence) from Sugar Bytes. The main reasons of my choice are:
direct integration in a VST host (ableton Live);
good replacement of my Sequentix P3 when I’m travelling;
each sequencer’s line can have its own independant loop (which is missing in the Sequentix P3).
In this small demo, Thesys sequencer is driving a sample set done on my modular synth (from what I can recall a Plan B Model 15 and a Doepfer filter were used). I started with on of the factory preset, tweak it, put some random lines, and … that’s it !
