Friday, November 25th, 2011Days of Darkness festival – Ljós|Light project
Tuesday, October 25th, 2011
Blending and dissolving old memories, scales, light, weather and landscape, exploring and interpreting the vibrations and pulsations of the territory, Ljós|Light will take you in a personal perception and expression of Iceland’s older days and nature.
We will have a projection of our Ljós|Light project during the Days of Darkness festival (03 nov. 2011 – 10 nov. 2011) in East Iceland at the Snaefellsstofa Visitor Centre (Vatnajökull National Park – Vatnajökulsþjóðgarður). This event will be followed by a lecture about our photographic and sound works on and in Iceland.
05 nov. 2011 – 15:00

Expo – In the footsteps of Eugene Trutat
Monday, October 17th, 2011Through Flickr, we were invited by the Museum of Toulouse to attend the photo exhibition titled: Objective Pyrenees – In the footsteps of Eugene Trutat with photography presented below illustrating La Brêche de Rolland in the the Pyrenees.
Part of this exhibition, for which we have contributed modestly, is based on the principle of a collaborative project comparing the current landscape with old photographs made at the time by Eugene Trutat (1840-1910).

Thursday, August 18th, 2011Volcanic eruption in Grímsvötn
Wednesday, May 25th, 2011The eruption in Grímsvötn has not been accessible since the ash cloud is so widespread. Some have likened it to an atom bomb mushroom. Ómar Ragnarsson, entertainer and media person, has said that the smoke “drowns within itself”. This means that it is not easy to get good areal photos of the eruption.
Jón Gústafsson went by helicopter to the eruption and was able to shoot the following video, which shows lightnings coming from the smoke every few seconds.
Cwejman RES-4 demo
Tuesday, May 3rd, 2011Here is a short demo of the Cwejman RES-4 Quad VC Resonators module I did a few months ago (I’ve just forgot to post it …).
This patch involve 3 intermodulating oscillators (Wiard Oscillator in LFO mode, Wiard Anti-Oscillator as a modulator, Tiptop Audio Z3000 as a modulator), which are filtered by a Wiard Boogie filter, itself modulated by the Wiard Oscilator.
12 dB/oct output of the Boogie filter is connected to the Cwejman RES-4. The tip was to modulate two bands of the RES-4 by an envelope (Wiard Envelator), which is trigged by a pulse rhythm created with the Intellijel uStep (clock signal is provided by the End output of a Bananalogue Serge VCS).
EFX processing through a nice Eventide Eclipse patch
which give a Steve ROACH’s like sound (IMO).
