Voici notre premier morceau complètement composé avec le séquenceur P3 Sequentix. La séquence qui vous est proposée d’écouter ici a été réalisée “live in studio” en une seule prise (toutes les manipulations de séquences sont faites en temps réel). L’ensemble a été enregistré en MIDI dans Live 7, seuls deux patterns ont été supprimés et quelques FadeIn | FadeOut ont été ajustés. Bon,le mixage n’est pas parfait (le changement de tempo n’est pas parfait, OK !) mais cela peut vous donner une bonne idée des possibilités de cette machine.

Hormis le MicroWave XT, toutes les autres sources sonores étaient chargées dans le module Sampler de Live 7. Les sons de l’Xpander ont été échantillonnés avec le logiciel AutoSampler (notre Xpander est en réparation depuis quelques mois, nous cherchons toujours des encodeurs de remplacements !).

    This is the first “tune” we’ve completly made with the P3 Sequentix sequencer. The music you can listen was played “live in studio” in one take (all the sequences modifications were done on the fly). Everything was recorded directly into Live 7 in MIDI format. We’ve just deleted 2 patterns and some FadeIn | FadeOut were adjusted. Well, the mix is not really perfect (the tempo change is not very accurate, OK !) but we’ve thought that it shows some of the numerous possibilities the P3 Sequentix offers.

    Unless the MicroWave XT, all others sounds were loaded into Live 7 Sampler module. The Xpander sounds have been sampled with AutoSampler (our Xpander is looking for new encoders …).

      This track is so good. Some of the patch textures and layering reminds me of Violator-era DM remixes.

      I’m pleased that you find this track great. Thanks !

      As this one is not completly finished (I have first to correct this bad tempo change, add some bits of analog modular sounds and then mastering), there is not download or place you can buy it up-to-now. I’m trying to release a first album for the end of 2008. I will inform you then.
